Oil on black canvas, 6x18, $185 plus shipping. On a recent birding boat trip with Meriwether Payne, we came in as the November sun was setting. The colors were thin and delicate, and we could just see the abandoned Coast Guard statkon above the dunes and grasses. It made me think of a Wyeth painting, and this is my effort to paint with that feeling.
